Big Sauve Big Suave Campaign Radio

It’s been about year or so since Big Suave has released a solo project. Since then, Suave has been filling up his free time with the release of Zombieland and appearing on remixes to other artists tracks. Some of those remixes, group songs as well as some previously unreleased material have all been assembled together and turned into a brand new mixtape hosted by DJ St. Lou entitled Campaign Radio.

Campaign Radio finds “The Mayor of Oak Cliff, TX.” rhyming over tracks from Young Jeezy, Chris Brown, Lloyd as well as production from C.G. and Dr. Digital. Campaign Radio also features appearances from Demented Da Ogre, Young Don, Yung Phill, Dawg Wonder and more. Campaign Radio opens up with an intro “Campaign Promises”, with Eddie Murphy and from there Suave waists no time sonning his competition pummeling Young Jeezy’s track, “Lose My Mind”. Then, on “Hard in the Paint”, Suave lands some hard hitting punch-lines knocking the air out of rappers thinking their in his league. And on “NSNTB RMX”, Big Suave rides with Yung Phill displaying their ability to one up any opposition.

Suave then goes on to join forces with DDC on “Boss Sh-t RMX”, where Suave displays his dominance on the rest of the rap game. Also, on the Dr. Digital produced track, “I Get Paper”, Suave superbly attacks the percussion precision that has become his trademark. Other high notes on Campaign Radio include, “Dueces RMX”, “I’m Beamin RMX” and “Women Lie RMX”. In the grand scheme, Campaign Radio is another notch in Big Suave’s mixtape resume.

Though the track listing is kind of long, Suave’s breath-taking punch lines, track selection and entertaining interludes provide enough to keep listeners attention to the end of the tape. Suave proves to be one of the sharpest lyricist in this generation. Once you hear Campaign Radio, I’m sure he’ll have no problem winning your vote.
